The last few years have seen the interest level in organic balloon decor grow enormously. So it only seems reasonable that the decor itself should grow to epic proportions. This grand cascade was created for the University of Rochester’s Meliora Weekend and was installed on the grand staircase of the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Shortly after we started experimenting with a design for a kaleidoscope made of balloons, we learned that the Rochester Museum and Science Center chose kaleidoscopes as the theme for their 2019 gala. This video captured our installation at the gala with a heavy emphasis on the fully working, and motorized kaleidoscope.

Two recent projects are examples of what we can do with logos at very different scales. A small recreation of the Corvette logo for a local dealership was intended to add just a bit of color for a demo day with a new car. The 15-foot YMCA logo was built over the course of a day as an interactive Bubble Mural with hundreds of community participants.

When Larry was a little kid, he wanted to be an astronaut. Decades later, with a team of Airigami artists, he had an opportunity to do an installation at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC. It was a recreation of a boot worn by Neil Armstrong to walk on the moon.

It's pretty obvious that we love balloons. We wouldn't be doing what we do if that weren't the case. But one of the greatest joys to us is seeing how other people react to our creations. This Valentine's Day, one of our local Wegmans grocery stores asked us to decorate. It was great being able to enhance the floral display with a few balloons.
