Transplant Games of America - Space Shuttle - Day 2
It's always fun to see who shows up to take part in these projects. Every one of these community projects brings a huge variety of people with different skills. So far, we've seen people as diverse as kids in summer programs, artists, employees at a correctional facility, and even those with connections to NASA (and some other space shuttle that apparently had been built previously). Everyone has their own stories. Some are talking about their interest in the Transplant Games. Others have tales of working in the aerospace world. The important thing is that everyone is laughing as they work and chat with new friends. There's lots of excitement here about, not just the balloons, but the start of the Transplant Games this weekend.
Up to 50 people are showing up for each four hour work shift, and every one of them deserves credit. Right now, I want to give big thank you to the Pioneer Balloon Company for working with us on this project. Qualatex balloons are simply a joy to work with!
