Chill with Santa
This year has provided the opportunity to experiment with all sorts of things that we don’t usually do. One of the things we’ve been working on for the past few weeks is a live interactive experience for families: Chill With Santa. If that sounds to you like it has very little to do with balloons, there’s a good reason for that. We create lots of interactive experiences. This one is a step in a new direction.
Living in Rochester, NY, we’ve always been all about creating indoor activities for families during the winter months. Rochester (typically) sees outdoor festivals all summer, but when the weather gets cold, everyone bundles up inside, waiting for warmer temperatures to return. Years ago, we produced the Airigami Adventure to solve the problem of winter blues. Now the situation is different. We’ve already been inside for months, but creating a large event that draws big crowds is the opposite of what we want. Here at Airigami, we’re not good at waiting around for things to change. We sprung into action creating something you can do at home with the family. We teamed up with ROC Vox Recording and Production and some of our favorite Rochester-based children’s entertainers, including Almeta Whitis, Richard Hughson, and M Winegarner to create an all new take on the Santa experience. You can now Chill With Santa online.
While Anthony Fauci has said St. Nick will stay safe due to Santabodies, that doesn’t mean the rest of us should be hanging out at the mall. This year, Santa is letting you get a peek into their home office in the North Pole as they chill with visitors over Zoom. Since Santa believes in being accessible to as many people as possible, you can request a conversation in ASL.
